Canada Day and Street Performers Festival

Canada’s Birthday Party is always a major event in Spruce Grove. The Festival spans two days, starting June 30 with The Servus Credit Union Community BBQ, the Street Performers Vaudeville Variety Show and roving performers. On Canada Day, July 1, lots of hungry people enjoy a $3 pancake breakfast, while numerous children "strut their stuff" in our Canada Day People Parade.

We officially celebrate our country’s birthday at 12:30 p.m. by singing O’Canada, raising the flag and giving out free cake, after which patrons will be amazed and awed by professional street performers all afternoon. Kids can play in the RE/MAX KidZone while teens are encouraged to check out activities in the TeenZone. Face painters, rovers, balloon artists and vendors will be on site all day.

The evening finishes off with free concerts and the spectacular RONA fireworks.
