Canada Day and Street Performers Festival

Canada's Birthday Party is always a major event in Spruce Grove. We typically start the day off with a pancake breakfast while numerous children and parents "strut their stuff" in the Canada Day People Parade.
We officially celebrate our country’s birthday at mid-day by singing 'O Canada,' raising the flag and giving out free birthday cake. Afterwards, everyone is invited to be amazed and awed by professional Street Performers who entertain all afternoon.
Kids and teens play in a designated "kid zone," while face painters, rovers, balloon artists and food and novelty vendors are on site all day.
The evening often finishes off with Spruce Grove's Awards of Excellence ceremony, followed by free concerts and our famous fireworks display.
