City of Spruce Grove staff can participate in numerous social events throughout the year. There is an annual staff appreciation dinner in the fall, followed by a Christmas party and a potluck lunch that is usually hosted by Public Works.

City staff embrace Corporate Challenge activities and the annual kick-off barbecue. The fun continues with a staff campout and golf tournament for outdoor and sports enthusiasts.

Every month, birthdays are acknowledged in a group setting, as well as baby and wedding showers – usually with lots of treats prepared by our staff.

Halloween is also a special time of year, when staff are encouraged to enter a costume contest and win prizes.
