Corporate Plan Public Submissions

Residents and community groups have an opportunity to make a submission to the City of Spruce Grove for consideration in the 2018-2020 Corporate Plan. This is part of an annual process where the City welcomes public input into the corporate planning and fiscal planning process.

All corporate plan submissions will be considered and prioritized as part of the City’s annual corporate planning process, which begins in March and continues until September. The deadline for sending in a corporate plan submission is Friday, March 31, 2017.

Process for making a submission

  1. Complete 2018-2020 Corporate Plan submission template. Be sure to use the “save as” function to save a copy of your submission on your personal computer.

  2. Submit your complete corporate plan submission package (and any supporting documents) to the City by Friday, March 31, 2017. You can drop the package off at City Hall, send it by mail, fax (780-962-2526) or email Email.

  3. If you wish to present your submission to the Committee of the Whole, you will be contacted to set up a presentation time. Presentations are limited to five minutes each.

All public submission, along with Administration’s recommendations, will be presented to Spruce Grove City Council in November for final review and approval. The end result will be the 2018-2020 Corporate Plan, which is the City’s principle guiding document for governance, community development and service delivery. It outlines City plans and projects for the next three years.

Once Spruce Grove City Council has formally adopted the 2018-2020 Corporate Plan, residents and groups who made a submission will be advised in writing of the status of their request.
