Enforcement Services
The City of Spruce Grove Community Peace Officers work to maintain the peace and security of Spruce Grove. Officers are authorized by the Alberta Solicitor General to perform a range of duties under the authority of the Peace Officer Act.
City of Spruce Grove Community Peace Officers investigate municipal bylaw complaints, enforce municipal bylaws and select provincial statutes under the Traffic Safety Act, and Gaming and Liquor Act, and carry out animal control duties.
Peace Officers operate fully marked patrol vehicles, assist the RCMP and Fire/EMS Services, and deliver proactive safety programs in the community.
