Water restrictions lifted on July 13, 2015

Odd/even lawn watering remains in effect

The City, along with the Capital Region Parkland Water Services Commission, would like to thank residents for doing their part to conserve water over the weekend. Residents' efforts to curtail non-essential water use have allowed reservoirs to recover resulting in the commission lifting the water restriction that was put in place on Friday, July 10.

As we have experienced an extended period of hot, dry weather, odd/even lawn watering will remain in effect in Spruce Grove.

Residents with:

  • Odd-numbered addresses may water on odd numbered days only.
  • Even-numbered addresses may water on even numbered days only.

The most optimal times to water your lawn is during the morning or early evening hours (ie. 6 - 10.am. or 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.).

This measure is necessary in order to ensure that the water supply from reservoirs maintains acceptable levels.

Water supplies will continue be monitored on a daily basis. If conditions do not improve, other restrictions may be put in place.
