Local volunteers to be celebrated during Volunteer Appreciation Event

Volunteers from all organizations are invited and welcome to attend, April 14 from 6 to 8 p.m.

In honour of National Volunteer Week External, which will be recognized from April 10 - 16, 2016, the Parkland Area Volunteer Action Committee (PAVAC) is hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Event on April 14. The event will take place at the Heritage Park Pavilion in Stony Plain from 6 to 8 p.m. and is free for volunteers to attend. A dinner, of chicken or pork on a bun with salad, will be served. Come enjoy an evening of food, fellowship and mingling with other local volunteers.

During National Volunteer Week, volunteers from across Canada will be celebrated as the roots of strong communities and Spruce Grove is no exception. Volunteers play an integral role in our community's continued growth, resiliency and vibrancy.

The Volunteer Appreciation Event is open to volunteers from all organizations.
