Since 2011, Challenger Sports’ coaching syllabus has brought an innovative daily regimen of foot skills, moves, juggling, practices and daily tournament play that weaves in lessons off respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership and sportsmanship to Spruce Grove.

Young players will be introduced to the game basics, competitions and skill-building activities while older, more advanced players, will focus on mastering core techniques through individual and small group practices.

Off the field, the international soccer program provides a unique cultural exchange opportunity as local families can host a British soccer coach, for one or both weeks, in their home. During this time, coaches teach about the customs and traditions of other countries while learning about life in Canada. Families who participate and host a Challenger Sports coach receive an $80 rebate toward a soccer camp.

Each camper will receive a gift bag that includes a camp T-shirt, soccer ball, fold-out poster, personalized skill performance evaluation and access to online coaching resources.

Additionally, local soccer teams are welcome to attend and receive a week of focused instruction to prepare them for the fall season. Team camp rates are available.

Challenger Sports External, the leading provider of sport camps in Canada and the United States, will run more than 3,000 soccer camps and clinics for more than 150,000 players across North America this year.
