Snow routes active in Spruce Grove

Vehicles must be removed from streets

Snow routes are currently active in Spruce Grove.

Yellow signs indicating snow routes are active are being posted along snow routes. Residents have 24 hours from the time the sign is posted to remove any vehicles from the route (signs are posted a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the start of snow removal operations).

Motorists are strongly encouraged to move their vehicles as soon as they see signs indicating active snow routes. Any vehicles that are not removed from snow routes will be towed.

Snow routes are the main, high-traffic roads typically within subdivisions and are identified year-round by permanently-affixed signs on street lamps or posts. When snow routes are active, parking on snow routes is not permitted.

The progress of snow removal on snow routes is updated online during regular business hours.

As City crews and equipment are out removing snow, motorists are also reminded, for everyone's safety, to give them plenty of room to work.

When snow routes are no longer active, the yellow signs will be removed and parking will again be permitted.
