Snow routes active in Spruce Grove

No parking on snow routes as of 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25

Due to the recent snowfall, snow routes are now active in Spruce Grove.

Motorists must have vehicles removed from snow routes by 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25. Yellow signs indicating snow routes are active have been posted along snow routes. These signs provide 24 hours' notice to remove vehicles from snow routes.

Motorists are strongly encouraged to move their vehicles as soon as they see signs indicating active snow routes. Any vehicles that are not removed from snow routes will be towed .

Snow routes are the main, high-traffic roads typically within subdivisions and are identified year-round by permanently-affixed signs on street lamps or posts. When snow routes are active, parking on snow routes is not permitted.

The progress of snow removal on snow routes is updated online during regular business hours.

As City crews and equipment are out removing snow, motorists are also reminded, for everyone's safety, to give them plenty of room to work.

When snow routes are no longer active, the yellow signs will be removed and parking will again be permitted.
