Mayor and Council recognize City employees

Thirty-one staff members assisted the community of Slave Lake

At the July 18 regular City Council meeting, Mayor Stuart Houston and council recognized 31 City of Spruce Grove employees for their contributions in assisting Slave Lake during their devastating fire. Employees recognized were from Spruce Grove Fire Services and the Planning and Infrastructure department. They provided assistance in the form of fire operational command, firefighting duties, fire station coverage, water and sewer operations, mechanics and fuel services. Some of the staff that provided assistance were in attendance at the meeting and appear in the photo above.
