Shred-4-Free: second event on June 25

Shred-4-Free: second event on June 25

Items shredded on the spot at Eco Centre from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A second Shred-4-Free event is being held on Saturday, June 25, after a scheduling conflict by the contractor, Shred-it, resulted in not having a secure truck on site for the original event on June 18.

Any materials that were left by residents at the June 18 event will be securely destroyed on Tuesday, June 21, under the supervision of City staff.

The second event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the City's Eco Centre at 50 Diamond Ave.

Residents can bring up to four boxes, each weighing 30 pounds or less, to the Eco Centre to be shredded, on the spot, in a secure Shred-it truck.
