Check online schedule and remove vehicles from streets as required

Residential street snow removal will begin in Spruce Grove on Monday, Jan. 11.

As neighbourhoods are scheduled into the snow removal rotation, orange signs indicating the day that snow removal operations are expected to start will be posted at the entrance to subdivisions. Motorists must have vehicles removed from residential streets by 7 a.m. on this date. These signs are posted a minimum of 72 hours before snow removal operations are scheduled to begin to provide residents with advance notice to remove their vehicles from residential streets.

On-street residential parking is not permitted from the date snow removal operations are scheduled to begin until snow removal is complete.

The progress of residential street snow removal is updated online during regular business hours.

Each year the rotation for residential street snow removal PDF changes, with the subdivision at the top of the list one year, moving to the bottom of the list the next year. In new subdivisions, the developer is responsible for snow removal until such time that the City has taken ownership of the roads and utilities from the developer.

As City crews and equipment are out removing snow, motorists are also reminded, for everyone's safety, to give them plenty of room to work.

When residential street snow removal is complete, the orange signs will be removed and on-street parking will again be permitted.
