Reminder to residents about postal strike
Alternative payment options available
During the duration of the postal strike the City of Spruce Grove would like to encourage residents to use alternate payment options and enrol in Online Services.
Online Services allows you to view your account balances for property taxes, utility billing and general receivables. Call 780-962-7597 to inquire or visit City Hall to enrol; identification will be required.
Preauthorized debit programs are available for property taxes and utilities, also on the main floor of City Hall. A void cheque and completed authorization is all that is required to enrol.
Property taxes
2011 Property Taxes are due June 30th, 2011. Mailed payments will be applied to your account as of post marked date. A 2.5% penalty will be applied on the 1st of each month to all unpaid balances.
Payments are accepted at your bank, through online and telephone banking through your financial institution and at City Hall between 8:30 – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Credit cards are not accepted. An after-hours drop off box is located at the south main entrance. Please do not deposit cash.

Utilities
Utility bills are still due upon receipt and are subject to penalties even though there is a disruption in mail delivery service.
