Update: Millgrove water main replacement

Shutdown affects local area residents

On June 13, Kran Construction will start the Millgrove water main replacement project. They have already started to saw cut asphalt for removal and laying out hoses to provide water to the homes that will be affected by the water main shutdown. Residents who will be affected by the shutdown have already received notices from the contractor.

The project will be implemented in three phases and will take approximately three weeks to complete. The project phases breakdown as follows:

Phase one

Kran construction will start at the intersection of Marlin Street and Marlboro Drive and head north on Marlin Street before heading west  on Marmot Avenue towards Morris Street.

Phase two

Kran construction will move from the Morris Street/Marmot Ave intersection, west on Marmot Ave to Madison Street and then connect to the water main at the Marlboro Drive/Madison Street intersection.

Phase three

This phase will involve the replacement of the water main on Marlboro Drive from Miller Avenue to Morris Street.
