Recognizing National Day of Mourning

On Friday, April 28, the flags at City facilities will be flown at half-mast to recognize the National Day of Mourning for those who have suffered and died in the workplace.

This day not only honours those who have lost their lives or been injured on the job, it also renews our commitment to improving health and safety in the workplace.

Last year 144 people died in Alberta from a workplace illness or injury.
