Spruce Grove Public Library

Get your FREE library card today at the Spruce Grove Public Library (SGPL) located in the Melcor Cultural Centre, just off King Street at 35 Fifth Avenue External. Based on their community-directed , SGPL offers free programs, affordable services, and diverse materials. Spruce Grove residents and visitors of all ages are encouraged to experience this award-winning library both in person and online.

Programs include: the provincially and regionally recognized Rotary Club of Spruce Grove Innovation Lab, Storytimes, Kids Clubs, Adult Clubs, Makerspaces, and Communiversity sessions. Services include: bibliotherapy kits (sponsored by the Field Law Community Fund), computers and printing, exam proctoring, room rentals, and more! Their collection includes fiction and non-fiction books (of course!) but also video games, CDs and DVDs, audio books, literacy and sensory backpacks, magazines, and the list continues. Beyond their shelves, SGPL provides cardholders with many online e-resources External and offers Alberta-wide borrowing with ME Libraries.
