Business incubators are programs designed to accelerate the successful development of entrepreneurial companies through an array of business support resources and services, developed and orchestrated by incubator management and offered both in the incubator and through its network of contacts. Successful completion of a business incubation program increases the likelihood that a start-up company will stay in business for the long term.
Northern Alberta Business Incubator (NABI)

The Agrivalue Processing Business Incubator (APBI)
APBI
is a multi-tenant facility providing the infrastructure and services to support and enhance the establishment and growth of new companies and new business ventures in Alberta. The APBI is a federally registered establishment enabling resident companies to market their products nationally and internationally.
TEC Edmonton
TEC Edmonton
is a business service provider, helping transform technologies into business opportunities. Our goal is to capture the value of the innovation in our region, for our region. A unique not-for-profit, TEC Edmonton is joint venture between the University of Alberta and the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC)
Edmonton Research Park’s Advanced Technology Centre
Edmonton Research Park
was established in 1980 for companies with new ideas. The Park was designed to accommodate the smallest to the biggest research companies. ERP offers a variety of facilities, suitable to a company’s stage of development. The Advanced Technology Centre is an incubator for start-up companies. Research Centre One provides flexible lab and production space for second-stage companies. The Biotechnology Business Development Centre provides specialized lab and office space to second-stage biotechnology companies. Sites are also available for larger companies to build their own research and development facilities.
