• With winter approaching, you may be wondering how the snow will affect automated collection. More information on automated collection. 
  
  
• The City’s new Eco-Centre is now open at 50 Diamond Avenue. 
  
  
• April 30, 2007 - Waste limit is now in effect. Each household has received one 240-litre black garbage bin. As of April 30th, the amount of waste each household puts out for collection is limited to what the bin will hold with the lid fully closed.

  Automated collection also started on April 30th, please only use the new black bin to put out your garbage. Only black bins and tagged bags of garbage will be picked up on your collection day.
