The City of Spruce Grove is pleased to offer a commuter transit service to Edmonton through a contract with Edmonton Transit System (ETS) and the City of Edmonton.
This service is an affordable and environmentally-friendly alternative to the costs of driving into the city and parking downtown or on campus.
Route 197 is an express service that runs during peak morning and afternoon hours. The route includes stops at NAIT and Grant MacEwan, through the downtown core and across the river to the University of Alberta.

Expanded service
Route 197 will operate every 20 minutes during morning and afternoon peak hours, starting at 5:35 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. to accommodate the large number of riders who are choosing public transit. Get your new schedule at the same locations where you purchase your pass.
Morning service to Spruce Grove / afternoon service to Edmonton
Limited service is available to Spruce Grove in the mornings and to Edmonton in the afternoons. Morning service to Spruce Grove leaves from 154 St and 118 Av (see schedule for departure times). Residents can pick-up afternoon service to Edmonton at any of the scheduled stops in Spruce Grove. Buses arrive 20-minutes after leaving Spruce Grove at the ETS west end garage located at 11904 - 154 St. ETS bus routes serving this area are 3, 122, and 126. These routes provide connections to the Northgate and Westmount terminals, West Edmonton Mall, and downtown.
