Residential fire pits in Spruce Grove require a free permit from Spruce Grove Fire Services. How to get one:  

1. Create an 8 ½” x 11” drawing of your back yard including:
   
   
   1. Fire pit location with distances from the pit to all fences, property lines, and structures
   2. Water source location
      
      
2. Provide a written request for the permit, including:
   
   
   1. Your phone number
   2. When you would like the inspection completed by.
   3. Written permission from your landlord if you are a renter.
